Leica-VT1000

Leica VT1000 S vibrating blade microtome is an instrument capable of high-quality sectioning requirements for numerous tissue types. When sectioning fixed tissue for specific neuropathology tests the Leica VT1000 S consistently provides high-quality results.

The vibrating razor blade in the vibratome provides relatively thick sections (~100 microns) suitable for specialized techniques of electron microscopy including immuno-EM.

Step-One-Plus

The StepOnePlus™ Systems bring advanced real-time PCR technology. The system measure amplification as it occurs, cycle by cycle, allowing for precise and quantitative measurements during the exponential phase of PCR. You can navigate seamlessly through all aspects of the real-time PCR process including sample and reaction set-up, thermal cycling, and fluorescent detection. ELISA reader is a specialized spectrophotometer—An instrument for measuring the intensity of light throughout a part of the spectrum which helps scientists to measure the reactions of antigens and antibodies in a solution through enzyme activity. It is a multimode plate reader that measures Luminescence (350–700nm), Fluorescence intensity [UV (Ex: 365nm, Em: 415–445nm) Blue (Ex: 475nm, Em: 500–550nm) Green (Ex: 520nm, Em: 580–640nm) Red (Ex: 627nm, Em: 660–720nm) AFC (Ex: 405nm, Em: 495–505nm)] and Visible absorbance (Spectra range: 200-600nm with 5 absorbance filters - 405, 450, 490, 560 and 600nm 10nm band pass)

Direct-Q

In the lab, Millipore water would almost always refer to deionized water. The pH of Milli-Q® water is equal to 6.998. MilliQ or Ultrapure water is pure down to the ppt level.Direct-Q produce Type 1 water (18.2 MΩ•cm at 25 °C ultrapure water) on demand from the RO stage, the first step in the purification chain. The second cartridge contains Ion Exchange resin . Tap water is pretreated to protect the RO membrane from organic fouling and chlorine oxidation. The RO membrane has 2 exiting streams: permeate (pure water) and reject. The permeate water that went through the RO membrane is stored temporarily in the tank. The ions, particles, organic molecules and bacteria rejected by the RO membrane are sent to the drain via the Reject Tubing. The Final Filter is a membrane based filter that removes all particles and bacteria with a size greater than the filter pore size.

A gel doc, also known as a gel documentation system, gel image system or gel imager, refers to equipment widely used in molecular biology laboratories for the imaging and documentation of nucleic acid and protein suspended within polyacrylamide or agarose gels.

Olympus

This instrument has been designed to observe the magnified images of specimens in various routine work and research applications. It’s equipped with monochrome and color cameras provides excellent fluorescence and color images and that makes it an ideal option to investigate all fluorescent or stained clinical or research specimens. This microscope is capable of capturing bright-field color images with DIC option and of multicolor fluorescence imaging with filters for DAPI, FITC, TRITC and Cy5. It also has a motorized z-axis control for 3D imaging. The CellSense Dimension software provides you with all features necessary to control the microscope and camera and to process and analyze the captured image quantitatively, such as deconvolution, signal intensity, cell counts, volume, surface area and length.

Centrifuge

Refrigerated laboratory centrifuge MPW260R is a table top centrifuge for in vitro diagnostic. It is used for separation of samples taken from human, animals and plants components of different densities, under the influence of the centrifugal force.

Lieca-DMI1

The Lieca DMI1 inverted microscope supports the specific work routine in the cell culture lab. Because living cells are growing at the bottom of the cell culture vessel this microscope has been designed to allow observing the cells through the bottom of the cell culture vessel (inverted observation). The Leica DMi1 saves time and provides ease of use with its 40x Ph1 objective. The scientist is no longer have to switch the phase slider when graduating from the 20x to the 40x! A smart sensor integrated in the slider makes sure the light intensity automatically adjusts between bright field and phase contrast!

Bio-Safety-Cabinet

Class II Biosafety Cabinets are, a partially enclosed, open-fronted workspace which protect the laboratory workers and the environment from harmful biological agents. Class II BSCs also prevent biological materials (i.e cell cultures, microbiological stocks) inside it from being contaminated. In a cell culture lab, the biological safety cabinet is meant to be a sterile (contamination-free) working area where cell culture vessels and tubes with sterile reagents can be opened without the risk of being contaminated.

Spectrophotometer

This easy-to-use, compact instrument delivers full spectrum UV-Vis analysis making it ideal for rapid nucleic acid and protein quantification. DS-11 Series Spectrophotometers set the industry standard for the lower detection limits of 0.5 -1.0 uL UV-Vis sample analysis. Detect to 0.75 ng/uL dsDNA, 0.60 ng/uL RNA or 0.04 mg/mL BSA. The DS-11 can measure samples with absorbance values as high as 750 absorbance units (at a 1 cm equivalent path length). This translates into 1125 mg/ml of BSA protein or 37500 ng/uL of dsDNA.

Tissue-processor

The automatic tissue processor MTP is intended for automatic fixation, dehydration and infiltration of histological tissue samples with fixatives, alcohol, solvents and paraffin wax for professional use in routine and research laboratories in the fields of biology, medicine and industry.

MIC2-IONTOPHORESIS

Iontophoresis is a mechanism for introducing drugs into the skin by small electric currents. Ions convey the electrical current as they enter the skin. The delivered dose depends on the current flowing and its duration. This is administered through the iontophoresis chamber, and an electrode.
